Truly public access track!! Usually when I travel I’m trying to figure out which high school tracks might have an open gate, this park has a newly-renovated track with full public access.

Joe Moakley Park is a gem! 🌳 It's huge, right on the waterfront, and offers amazing views of Boston Harbor and the islands. 🏞️ Perfect for a run on the track 🏃♀️ or a stroll along the beach. 🏖️ Plus, there are baseball fields ⚾ and plenty of events. It's really shaping up with all the ongoing initiatives! 👍 Fair warning—the city’s been in the middle of major renovations, so some corners still have that “work in progress” feel. But the new elevated walking paths and upgraded fields are already shaping it into something special. Whether you’re showing up for a pickup soccer game or just want to catch the sunset with a sea breeze, Moakley’s a solid bet.

Great place. I'm not sure if the place is usually this quiet or just the time I went there. Great small beach-ish place, not quite a full fledged one. But soothing any way.
